TV Fans Outraged as Beloved BBC Show Misses Out on Bafta Nods

The Traitors fans are fuming as the show was ‘robbed’ three times on Sunday night and lost on every single award at the Bafta TV Awards .

Securing the prize instead were Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland for their performance of the blackout dance on Strictly Come Dancing.
The last slight happened as Claudia Winkleman was nominated for best entertainment performance. She lost out instead to Joe Lycett, who won for his series, Late Night Lycett – for the second year in a row.

Even though the supporters were upset, Claudia appeared unperturbed by all the commotion and posted pictures on Instagram for her fans.

The second season of The Traitors garnered massive popularity when it debuted in January 2024.
The initial episode attracted 5.94 million viewers, however, when the last episode was broadcasted, the number of spectators rose to 8.03 million, all eager to discover if the betrayer Harry Clark would be apprehended by those loyal to him.
The season proved to be immensely successful, attracting yet another large audience for its third installment. In fact, the premiere episode drew in 9.23 million viewers throughout the UK.
When the third season ended, 9.91 million viewers tuned in for the last show.
Claudia has received consistent praise for overseeing the UK show across all three seasons, ensuring continuity as fresh talents join each year.
