Gardener Tom Massey is enjoying a radiant moment following his achievement of winning a gold medal at Chelsea Flower Show this week.
The London A landscaper from the vicinity of Richmond Park in southwest London claimed his second consecutive prestigious gold medal following his display at the nation's premier floral exhibition.
Working alongside co-designer Je Ahn, they developed the AI-powered Avanade Intelligent Garden, making it one of the standout horticulture displays at this year’s event.
BBC presenter Adam Frost commended the garden for its variety during a tour, stating: ' He's built in layers - so the trees, the shrubs, and then we're down to the herbaceous plants, but within that, there's a huge amount of edibles.'
Tom informed MailOnline Travel that he has drawn inspiration from exploring some of Earth's most breathtaking natural havens. He encourages those who appreciate verdant landscapes to ensure they allocate time during their vacations to visit stunning gardens.
He said: ' Exploring gardens when travelling provides one of the richest means to engage with a destination—offering insights into the area’s customs, weather patterns, and natural environment via garden architecture.
Gardens narrate tales of human coexistence with nature, and every single garden discloses something distinctive about its surroundings and inhabitants.
In this piece, the gold-medal recipient from the Chelsea Flower Show shares his top garden selections globally.
